The group system is still in beta testing stage, it has some glitches and the member settings automatically reset sometimes. If you are a contributor or a member and still can't add your art, please tell me and I'll change the settings again.
Btw, I think it would be good if every active member who ever posted anything to the club submitted the deviations again so I can remove the old copies from the club. Because people still keep adding those to their favourites and I can't even ask them to fav the originals, because groups don't get notified of favourites any longer.
Also, please don't suggest your own art as a favourite. If you can't contribute it, then send a comment or a note! I originally had quite strict rules of what to add to the club favourites, but with this new system, it's a real drag to find what I want to add, so I'll accept your suggestions.

Hi everybody! #Roy-Mustang-Club is a group now.

Things you should know:
From now on, you don't have to send notes to join or submit art. Simply click on "join group" on the club's homepage. PLEASE JOIN!! You may watch the club without becoming a member, but you must be a member to contribute artwork. You'll automatically become a member after you click on "join group".
To submit art, click on "contribute deviation" and choose it from your gallery.
From now on, the thumbnails that appear in the club gallery will already be direct links to the actual deviations. With this, the annoying "don't fave from the club gallery" thing will be gone.
However, I can't change the deviations that were posted to the club before it was converted unless their owner contributes them again.
As a rule, I never posted or favorited my own artwork before. However, I made an exception now to see how the new system works.
It's super easy! So I'd like to encourage everyone to become members/contributors if you have fanart you want to show to the world.

Hiatus Dear club members! Just letting you know that the club is still up and running, but we haven't received ANY new submissions since August. So if you have any Roy Mustang related drawings, don't hesitate to note us!

ID CONTEST!! [CLOSED]
Yes, we're having a contest. Design a deviant ID for the club! You don't even have to draw something new, you can use old drawings, BUT the art must be your own! (Our first ID got deleted by admins, because there was official art on it...) You must put at least one picture of Roy and the name "Roy Mustang Club" on it. It's not necessary to make it in the correct size, we'll resize it if it doesn't fit. Everything else depends on you.

If you'd like to enter the contest, send us a note entitled "Contest entry" with a link or a thumbnail of your contest entry.

Prize: The winning entry will be used as a club ID.
Deadline: May 3rd (1st anniversary of the club )
Club members will be allowed to vote for a week after the deadline. If there won't be at least two entries, the contest will be canceled.

Welcome to the newest Roy Mustang fanclub! This club was created since we don't know of any other currently active Roy Mustang clubs, although new fans still keep appearing and wanting to join clubs. The purpose of this club is to collect and share fanart about our favourite Fullmetal Alchemist character. So keep an eye on our favourites too!
And obviously, if you like the Colonel, join right away!

How to join?
Simply send a note entitled "Joining" and you'll be added to the members list asap. You must watch the club and add the club icon to your journal. Type : iconroy-mustang-club : without the spaces.
Note: We won't watch anyone. You must send us a note if you'd like to submit something.

Submitting
Our only real rule is that Roy must be on the pic. It doesn't matter if he's not in the center or anything like that. Also, he can be with anyone or with as many other characters as you want.
You can submit all kinds of artwork, fanfiction or cosplay photo related to Roy. You can submit group pics as well as long as Roy's on the pic.
All Roy pairings are welcome, this means mild yaoi / shounen-ai is also acceptable as well as pairings with original characters.
Animal forms are welcome as well.
Send us a note with a link to your deviation entitled "Submission". Please don't direct-link the jpg file! Use the link with that long number of the deviation instead. It makes club admins' lives easier... We'll submit a copy of your deviation as a club submission. You'll be given full credit. No png files, please!
You can submit as many deviations at a time as you want, but we might have to set a limit later on.
We have the right to refuse to submit your deviation if it contains copyrighted material (like official pictures, screenshots or fanart done by someone else).
